The Full Advantage Story

Full Advantage (FA) was founded in February 2019 by our CEO, Katie Keich, after a decade of experience in corporate America. During her time in the logistics industry, she recognized a significant need for education and solutions in improving billing, payment processing, and credit and collections. Our mission's central focus was to help businesses increase sales while minimizing credit losses.

By November 2019, FA had the opportunity to collaborate with one of the top ten largest companies in the world. Our expertise and relationship-building skills were put to the test as we worked to enhance communication between onshore and offshore teams.

From late 2019 through 2021, FA was tasked with revamping the collections operations for two small third-party collections agencies. The investors wanted to exit the business. We overhauled all back-office functions, equipping the agencies with upgraded tools, resources, technology, and streamlined procedures. Our focus was on building a strong foundation to ensure sustainable growth, and by late 2022, both companies were well-positioned for scalability. The investment firm exited the business in 2023.

In mid-2021, the FA team was selected as the strategic partner to create, launch, and maintain the entire back-office operations for a startup technology in the freight industry. FA stepped up to the assignment and this company achieved $15.1M in revenue year one! The company attributes their success to their ability to focus on sales and customer service because of the responsibilities FA owned. FA enabled them to hyper-focus on sales growth adding $5M+ in revenue in the first 90 days. This organization was positioned to do $25M in year two.

In late 2021, we expanded our offerings by bringing on a payment tech startup that automates back-office needs specifically for the SMB and logistics sectors. Our founder, Katie Keich, played a pivotal role as the corporate advisor and was later named Co-founder of this innovative solution.

In Quarter Two of 2022, FA was awarded the opportunity to work with a $1B innovative transportation company. For this client, FA provides services such as making collection calls, starting the dispute process, and resolving outstanding past-due balances. The FA team quickly completed training and was efficiently able to be inserted as a plug-and-play extension of their existing financial services team.

As we entered 2023, we welcomed a $125 million woman-owned and operated, non-asset-based third-party logistics provider, a family-run business specializing in intermodal, less-than-truckload, full truckload, and specialty services. With a veteran staff and a customer-driven mindset, we strived to be solution providers by understanding the complexities of our customers’ businesses. Full Advantage was responsible for completely rewriting the organizational chart, job responsibilities, and the quote-to-cash process, along with fully documenting these changes. We also helped with cleaning up company financials from the past two years, identifying, interviewing, hiring, training, and fully onboarding a new corporate controller.

Later in 2023, we had the incredible opportunity to partner with a $100 million corporation that manufactures nugget ice makers for the healthcare, food service, hospitality, and supermarket industries, as well as ice and water dispensers, refrigerators, and freezers for patient care. In this role, Full Advantage was responsible for rewriting the entire order-to-cash process and reimplementing company tools and resources for maximum ROI. We strategized with leadership to determine what additional positions were needed and assisted in the introduction, hiring, training, and onboarding of that employee, allowing the company to ramp up this new leader quickly.

In July 2024, our Founder and CEO successfully exited the SaaS software solution that automates back-office needs for the SMB and logistics space, marking a significant milestone in our journey.

Today, Full Advantage is firmly committed to our consulting services as we head into 2025, focusing on empowering businesses to achieve operational excellence and sustainable growth. Our expertise in strategic planning, business optimization, financial strategy, and leadership development enables us to deliver tailored solutions that meet the unique challenges of our clients.
